Across the world, Indigenous communities are reclaiming their histories from former colonial powers. Though I could never fully understand the struggle of Palestinians and other displaced peoples, studying their art, film, and literature has taught me the true meaning of resilience. I’ve included my SOAS dissertation on the subject. It's an honor to write about the history, identity, and visual culture of such a courageous people.
